Back to some type of normality, and then later on in the month a lot more restrictions were lifted, so I was actually able to go to a live music gig and stand up. We’re not there, yet, but hopefully now it’s sooner rather than later.
July started out with two Glitterbug events on consecutive nights
I worked with one of the performers of the Glitterbug shows, Sian Black, who was spectating one night and then performing, so she stayed over and we managed to fit a shoot in.
Creative Photography Events held their summer spectacular, Dark Circus, and while it didn’t go fully to plan as some restrictions were still in place, it was great to see a number of people I hadn’t seen for ages. For this there were two sessions, I was taking photos in the morning session, doing some video in the afternoon session, and set my camera up for a time lapse throughout the day.
Sticking with Creative Photography Events, they had a couple of Wednesday evening group shoots during July, one was an androgyny themed shoot with Halo Haynes then one was a Fitness themed event with Ellie and Natalie
Still with Creative Photography Events, they had a weekend over at TankSpace. The Saturday was a live event, split into three sessions and then the Sunday was a mixture of live and remote shooting. I attended on the Saturday and throughout the day did some video, a time lapse and also took photos during one of the sessions.
Another photography club is back with their group events, this time I was at Meadows Camera Club and for the evening we had Morgan with us. This was on one of the hottest days of the month, so a lot of the time when I wasn’t shooting, I was standing outside in the cool air where there was a nice breeze.
